FUNdamentals.

Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics or STEAM classes and camps that have real world applications, that's what brickSTEAM is all about.

Spatial awareness skills help point participants in the right direction. Dr. Amy Shelton, a cognitive psychologist and director of research at Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth says, " When kids are building with blocks and LEGO® elements (sic), they're using spatial reasoning skills," and goes on to point out, " These skills not only have a relationship to academics, but to the fields you might gravitate to, and where you're going to excel."

Our curriculum is also designed to help develop leadership and mentor-ship skills. Sometimes these skills get left out when the focus is just about an individual goal or screen centric program.

Classes and camps happen during the whole year, vacation breaks, and after school. From simple machines to complex robotics, we have you covered. A feature camp at brickLAB, "Stop! Motion Picture", provides participants with the tools they need to create brick-films. Many successful filmmakers get their start in stop motion film making.

Helping to apply big thinking for all learning levels, with opportunities to do more than just computer work, brickSTEAM classes and camps are FUNdamental.
