Birthday Party Policies & Planning Guide

We’re so excited to celebrate with you at brickLAB! Our team is here to make your child’s birthday fun, easy, and memorable from start to finish. The information below will help you prepare for your party and answer many of the questions families commonly have before the big day.

Booking & Payment

• A non-refundable $150 deposit is required to reserve your birthday party.
• The remaining $199.95 balance is due on the day of your party, along with any applicable add-ons or additional guest fees.
• Once your reservation is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with your party details and these policies.

Planning Your Party

Guest Count

Our standard birthday package includes up to 16 participating children.

• Any child participating in the LEGO® activities will be included in the final guest count.
• Additional participating children (ages 5 and older) are $20 per child.
• A maximum of 20 participating children is permitted.

To help us prepare materials and staffing, please provide an estimated guest count at least 24 hours before your party. We understand your final attendance may change, but an estimate allows us to better prepare for your celebration.

Food & Drinks

Families are responsible for providing all food, drinks, cake, and party supplies.

brickLAB does not provide:

• Food or beverages
• Cake or desserts
• Plates
• Napkins
• Cups
• Utensils

We do provide:

• Serving gloves
• A cake knife (if needed)
• A lighter for birthday candles

You are welcome to store your cake in our refrigerator on the day of your party.

For safety reasons, beverages must be in sealed bottles, pouches, or other non-glass containers. No open cups are permitted, as they can easily spill and create large messes in the party and play areas.

Decorations

brickLAB provides:

• A Happy Birthday banner
• LEGO®-themed tablecloths
• Personalized LEGO® artwork on the party room whiteboards featuring your child’s name

You’re welcome to bring additional decorations to personalize your celebration.

The following decorations are not permitted:

• Confetti/Glitter
• Decorations that may permanently damage walls, furniture, or fixtures

Nails, screws, staples, and adhesives that could damage our facility are not allowed. Tape may be used.

Before Your Party

Arrival Time

If you plan to decorate the party room, please arrive 15–20 minutes before your scheduled party time. This allows enough time to set up before your guests arrive.

Parties begin promptly at their scheduled start time.

During Your Party

Party Attendants

brickLAB provides one to two party attendants to help make your celebration as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

Our staff will:

• Lead all scheduled LEGO® activities
• Assist with setup
• Serve food and cake upon request
• Help with cleanup

Party Length

Your party reservation includes 90 minutes in our private party room.

To provide every family with the best possible experience, parties must end promptly at their scheduled end time. In many cases, another birthday party is scheduled immediately afterward, and our staff needs time to clean, reset the room, and prepare for the next celebration.

Late arrivals do not extend the reserved party time.

If your party extends beyond the reserved time due to the actions of your guests, a $50 fee will be charged for every additional 15 minutes. This fee will not apply if the delay is caused by brickLAB staff.

Party Room & Adult Guests

Birthday party reservations include exclusive use of our private party room only.

brickLAB remains open to the public during birthday parties, so the retail floor and rear activity areas are not included with your reservation.

Our birthday parties are designed primarily for participating children and their immediate families. If your celebration expands beyond the reserved party room—for example, by setting up food, catering, tables, seating, or gathering areas elsewhere in the store—or includes a significantly larger number of adult guests than expected, additional space rental fees will apply.

If you’re planning a larger celebration or expect a large number of adult guests, you must speak with a manager prior to booking so we can review your event details and confirm available options.

Parent Supervision

A parent or legal guardian of the birthday child must remain at brickLAB throughout the entire party.

Parents of invited guests are welcome to stay or leave during the party if they feel their child can participate independently.

For the safety of all participants, we strongly recommend that children under the age of 7 have a parent or guardian remain in the building for the duration of the party.

Respecting Our Facility

Guests are expected to treat brickLAB’s facility, LEGO® materials, furniture, and equipment with care and respect.

The individual booking the party is responsible for any excessive damage caused by members of their party beyond normal wear and tear. brickLAB reserves the right to charge for the repair or replacement of damaged property if necessary.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Your $150 deposit is non-refundable.

If you need to reschedule your party, your deposit may be transferred to a new available date provided the request is made at least two weeks before your scheduled party.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you.
